Jarod and Jennifer met at school and married in 1999 after receiving their degrees from the Moody Bible Institute in Applied Linguistics and International Ministries, respectively. They have a vision for reaching the children of Haiti with the Gospel message, and are in the process of adopting three Haitian children: twin boys, Justin and Jadin, and a little girl named Daphne. Their fourth child, Dora Jane, was born in Port-au-Prince in May of 2004, and Jennifer is awaiting the birth of a son towards the end of October. As time permits, they enjoy making and editing their own videos, spending quality time with their children, and seeing the sites of Haiti.

Jarod
and Jennifer joined the Kids Alive International staff with experience
working with children in Haiti, having worked with orphaned and abandoned children with Heart
of God Ministries in Port-au-Prince. In 2003, they began working with Field Directors,
Tom and Helen Froese to open a children’s home in Haiti.
