
Jenny Herrera

Jenny
Herrera comes to Kids Alive International from York, England. Her
sending and supporting church is St. Michaels Church, Chester Square
in London.
Jenny has been
appointed the Director of Guatemala in March of 2005, she has been with Kids
Alive Guatemala since January of 2003. Prior to joining Kids Alive Jenny worked
as an accountant at Pricewaterhouse Coopers. Before assuming her role as Field
Director, Jenny's main responsibility was accounting for this ministry site.
She also enjoys working with the children; one of her great joys is giving music
lessons.

Doug and Sara Johnson
Long-term Missionaries |
Doug and
Sara Johnson and their family became better acquainted with Kids Alive International
in 2000 when Doug volunteered his construction skills to help with the
USA office expansion. A year later, the entire family was heading to
Guatemala to serve as long-term missionaries.
A graduate in Christian Education from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, previous to coming to Kids Alive, Doug provided construction support and supervision to (Helps) International Ministries. Sara also attended Moody Bible, is a Licensed Practical Nurse, and worked as a crisis pregnancy counselor (among a variety of other voluntary positions) .

Patricia Hoeksema

Patricia joined
the Kids Alive International staff in August of 2002 and presently
serves in Guatemala.
Formerly of Muskegon, Michigan (Olivet Evangelical Free Church),
Patricia taught elementary education in the Kindergarten and Fourth
grade classes. During the summer, Patricia worked at a conference
center where she first heard about Kids Alive.
“God has led me to this ministry to share His love with children and to
use my teaching skills and experience.”

Courtney Rodriguez
Missionary |
Courtney is a 2003 graduate from George Fox University in Portland, OR,
and holds her degree in Social Work. Courtney has served with Kids
Alive in Guatemala for 3 months in 2003, 6 months in 2004-2005, and has
now returned to serve for a long term commitment.
Courtney is working with the older girls at the home to teach them the
skills to transition to independence outside of the Kids Alive home

Mark Graehling

Mark Graehling arrived in Guatemala on March 12, 2007. Mark visited Guatemala with the Wrigleyville Service Team for six years before joining Kids Alive and is therefore well accustomed with The Oasis and its surroundings.
