Matt and Mel Parker
and their two young children, Katie and Nathan, come to Kids Alive® International
from Yeovil Community Church, in the southwest of England.
Joining the Kids Alive
staff in 1996 and 1998, respectively, Matt and Mel are the Directors
of the ministries at Dar El Awlad (Near East Boys’ Home), Dar El
Awlad School, the Moses Basket Care Center Program and our Family Support
Program.
Prior to joining the Kids Alive
staff, Matt taught at a school near London after college, and Mel worked
for a children’s team in a theater company.

The Farhat Family

Home for Girls Directors |
Alain Farhat, along with his wife, Roula Abdel Jalil, have been the Directors of the Home of Serenity (Beit El Safa) home for girls in Beirut, Lebanon since 1998. With their son, Joe, and daughter, Julie, they attend the Free Evangelical Church of Lebanon.

Matthew & Suzanne Gregory Missionaries |
Mat and Suzanne Gregory joined Kids Alive International in 2003 and serve in Lebanon. Their home church is St John's the Evangelist located in Birmingham, England where they lived and worked prior to coming to Lebanon.
Both primary school teachers, they met while attending the University College of Ripon and York St John where Mat received his Three-Year Science Degree followed by a Post-Grad Certificate in Education. At the same time,
Suzanne received her Four-Year Combined Science and Education Degree.

Alistair Dickey
Long-Term Missionary |
Alistair Dickey is currently serving with Kids Alive International as the Assistant Residential Manager at Dar El Awlad in Lebanon. He has been in Lebanon for over two years having been sent out from First Broughshane Presbyterian Church in Ballymena, Northern Ireland
For the past two years Alistair has been working as Children’s and Youth worker with the residential boys at the Boys’ Home.

Brent Hamoud
Short-Term Missionary |
Brent Hamoud joined Kids Alive in the fall of 2007 and has served in Dar El Awlad School and as the supervisor of the Bread of Life Bakery. Brent is sent out by the Waite Park Church in Minneapolis.
Brent’s history with Kids Alive goes back over 50 years ago when his grandparents, Leonard and Lois Swenson, began their 35 year ministry as the directors of Dar El Awlad.
