Volunteer Service Teams

What Are Volunteer Service Teams?

Volunteer Service Teams are small groups of individuals (traditionally known as a missions trip team) who work directly with a Kids Alive ministry to primarily accomplish a specific construction project. These service teams, numbering between 5-to-20 participants, are usually formed by a local church or organization and serve on one of our ministry fields for a one or two-week period.

In addition to the Team's construction project, times of interaction with our Kids Alive children will be included as part of the Service Team schedule.

Service TeamsWhat does it cost?

The total cost will depend on where the Team serves, the length of stay, and the type of project. Costs range between $600 and $800 per person (plus airfare) which includes all project, food, lodging, local travel and ministry expenses. Add-on trips will cost extra.

What Teams are being organized?

    If your church or organization wishes to send a Team of adults, or adults and teens, let us know! We will gladly work to accommodate your Team's schedule, location, interest and skills.

Upon receipt of this information, Kids Alive International will confirm with our ministry field locations the availability of the dates you have requested. Once these dates have been confirmed, Kids Alive will provide further information to your team leader regarding daily schedules, add-on trip options, health requirements, and additional guidelines.

A Service Team contract will also be included with this information. The contract should be signed by your Team leader and a church or organization leader, and returned to Kids Alive within 30 days along with your Team's $500.00 deposit.
